Today's Generation
I believe that technology kills creativity and visualizes everything for us, as opposed to allowing us to exercise our imagination. Even though we all live in same world, I see that most people are detached when I walk through the campus and see individuals either with headphones on or on their laptops, wandering off in their world. It seems as if we don't share anything in the real world. To me, technology makes people spend less time socializing face to face and more time socializing behind screen through the use of "social" networking websites such as Facebook and Twitter. On my Facebook account, I have more than 100 friends but I only personally know about 50 of them. From what I have seen, it is much easier to make friends through Facebook than it would be in the real world.
